And They Say it Never Rains in Southern California

Sometimes the journeys which life leads us on, can bring us from this...
To this, all within the span of twenty-four short hours.  Southern California has been full of delightful surprises over the course of the past few days.  Even though we are missing just about half of our Angel clan, when we heard that there would be snow in our local mountains we decided to play "hooky" from work and school to head up to the five thousand foot level for some good 'ol fashion white stuff.  Sometimes, we're a little crazy like that.  It's how we like to roll!
And by the look on Angel Daughter Number Four's face, she and Jersey really enjoyed the extra cuddle time.

May you take a little time to do something out of the ordinary, even if it's only for an hour or two and may you stay warm and cozy no matter where you live.

I was in Southern California recently, and I needed my winter coat at the graveside. I couldn't believe it! I was genuinely cold and glad I'd toted along my Okie coat.

It's raining here all week. I hope we stay warm and dry too. (And we have some kitties to help!)

I know I'm supposed to say GOOD FOR YOU, but since we live in snow hell, I'm going to say WTF??

Enjoy your warm sun and sand and stay away from the cold!!

I think I might like snow much more if I had to go "visit it"!LOL
We have had a couple days of it here in Kansas-The other day as I drove to pick up my son from school-I came up with 20 reasons why I hate the cold and snow-that was in a 10 minute time period!
Your photos are beautiful and I always enjoy seeing them-the advice I should take and find something to enjoy-so hard right now!

These pictures are A M A Z I N G. I love the iced pines. It's awesome that you can have both the beach and the snow. We just have the grey and the slush.

Your picture of the seagulls on the beach is so beautiful. I saved it as my background on the computer. It's so peaceful looking and sure wish I was standing somewhere on a beach listening to the ocean. Sure would beat this 30 degree weather and snow in West Virginia!
