Because we All Need to be Reminded

Walking down the beach today, these words suddenly came to me in the flash of a momentary notion and I thought,
with the way that the world is right now
I am not the only one who needs to hear this.
So I picked up the nearest stick and I wrote you a message because I knew that the thought would pass through my mind, nearly unnoticed, with the thousands(tens of thousands?) of other words that would flit through my mind by the end of the day.

You are, you know.

oh, WOW! I needed to hear this today as my anxiety has been high due to worrying about a return of cancer.....and the treatment I am on for H-Pylori. I start to beat myself up for being afraid...when truly, dealing with Lyme disease and its coinfections, surviving cancer, and living with a body that continually struggles to keep on going ~~~~~~ I AM BRAVE!
Thank you for being God's voice today Debbie....

PS. It sounds like the cancer has returned..and it has not...it is just the checkups and new symptoms that can cause me worry that is may return...

Deb,
Thank you for this wonderful message...I've been thinking about you; been getting updates on Jack via CaringBridges and he is such an adorable little boy. I keep him in my prayers often and ask God to provide strength for his family. It can't be easy at all!
My heart is with you...hugs!

Debbie good for you for writing this message in the sand.

Eleanor Roosevelt said "Do one thing every day that scares you".

She then went on to say:
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience by which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along."

Very wise woman, wasn't she.

Here in the blogging community we remind each other to be brave on a regular basis. So that we can offer support. So that we can be each other's believing mirrors.

I am always blown away by the power that emerges when a diverse group of people come together.

Take care dear friend.
Big hugs

I know what you mean about all the words that float through my mind every day. Fortunately your words have risen to the top when I most needed them. Thank you, Debbie, for your words in the sand.
